Job Description

Teach sociology courses to a diverse student body using effective teaching strategies; develop; revise; and maintain course materials; and develop/implement retention strategies. Teaching may be on any of the SCC and/or high school campuses; may be days, nights, weekends, or a combination; and is for face-to-face classes only. Master's degree in sociology or a Master's degree in any field with 18 graduate hours in sociology. Teaching experience preferred. Candidate must be able to teach in-person courses during the day. Ph.D preferred.
