• Position Overview
• Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, the Special Education Teacher will: + Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with special needs + Collaborate with general education teachers and staff + Participate in IEP planning, implementation, and progress monitoring + Provide instructional support, tutoring, and consultation services + Contribute to a team-oriented approach to student success •Assignment Details•+ •

• + Bachelor's Degree (preferred) +
• Valid Alaska Teaching Certification (required)
• + Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (preferred) + Certifications preferred: + Standard Elementary Teaching + Standard Secondary Teaching + Standard Special Education Teaching +

• Endorsement:

• Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred + Must meet all federal, state, and local compliance requirements + Current health documentation (TB test, physical, CPR if applicable) + Must be at least 18 years old
