Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. You'll primarily work with elementary students in self-contained classrooms, typically serving 4-6 students per class, with placements available for both elementary (K-6) and high school (6-12). Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Alabama SPED licensure required (To verify, visit the ALSDE Certificate portal) For elementary positions: Must have K-6 endorsement For secondary positions: Must have 6-12 endorsement Previous experience with self-contained or special education classrooms strongly preferred Ability to connect with students with diverse needs and tailor instruction accordingly

Role Responsibilities:
