Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners as a Special Education Teacher in a supportive preschool setting. This rewarding contract opportunity involves working closely with a dedicated team to provide specialized instruction and care for preschool students with diverse learning needs. In this full-time role, you'll work with a manageable caseload of 9 students in a self-contained classroom environment. Enjoy a balanced schedule, working from 7:45am-3:15pm, with plenty of opportunities to make each day both fun and impactful for your students. What You'll Need:
Certification as a Special Education Teacher Experience or enthusiasm for working in preschool or early childhood special education Excellent communication skills A collaborative mindset to partner with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Flexibility and creativity in managing classroom routines
What You'll Do:
