In this role, you will provide behavioral support, assist with daily living activities, and implement individualized care plans to promote growth, independence, and well-being. Your energetic approach and commitment to patient-centered care will help foster a positive environment where children can thrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to deliver impactful support services. Responsibilities Implement behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to support children with autism in various settings Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility Collect and analyze data on behavior patterns to inform treatment plans and monitor progress Support the development and execution of individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to ensure consistency across environments Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations Use medical terminology appropriately when documenting observations and interventions Support behavioral health initiatives by managing behavior management strategies in a patient-centered manner Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavior management strategies Experience assisting with ADLs in a caregiving or educational setting Familiarity with medical documentation processes and maintaining confidential medical records Understanding of special education principles and teaching methodologies for children with autism Ability to collect data systematically and utilize it to adapt intervention strategies effectively Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role Join us in creating a supportive environment where children with autism can reach their full potential!
