MAINTENANCE TEACHER

Qualifications:

Ability To Obtain And Hold Alabama Teacher's Certification Bachelor's Degree Or Higher With An Endorsement In Technical Education Within The Career Technical Education Division. Willingness To Complete Any Certification Requirements. Work Experience And Understanding Of Industrial Mechanics And Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electricity, Electronics, Ac/Dc Current, Circuits, Meter Reading, Schematic Reading, Engines, And Safety.

Essential Duties:

Establish a classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth. Establish effective rapport with students. Motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide an educational foundation. Establish a good relationship with students, parents, co-workers, volunteers, and other visitors. Complete and maintain career tech records and documentation. Attend career tech meetings, professional development activities, and functions. Sponsor career tech student organization work environment.
