Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education (K-6) Prior experience with severe behavioral needs preferred Ability to write and implement Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Previous restrain training strongly preferred Strong communication, patience, and adaptabilityResponsibilities:
Serve in a self-contained classroom setting for students exhibiting severe behaviors Design and implement effective academic and behavioral interventions Write comprehensive BIPs and IEPs tailored to individual student needs Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families for student success Utilize de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques when necessary Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environmentBenefits and Perks:
