Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Summer Floaters. As a Summer Floater, you will have the opportunity to work in various roles within our organization, providing support and assistance in different areas. This is a paid position that offers valuable experience in the field of education and child development.
Duties:
  • Assist teachers and staff in implementing educational activities and programs
  • Support students with special education needs, providing individualized attention and assistance
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for children
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement curriculum plans
  • Engage children in literacy education, math activities, physical education, and other developmental areas
  • Provide early intervention support for students who may require additional assistance
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with special education strategies and accommodations
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to adapt to different roles and responsibilities within the organization
  • Flexibility to work in various classrooms or settings as needed
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a team of educators and support staff
  • Experience in curriculum development is a plus Please note that this is a paid position.
