Jefferson Regional Environmental Services Department Job Summary:

FloorCare Specialist is responsible for cleaning all types of floors and carpet care to ensure that all are clean to help beautify the appearance of the facility. This role should be able at maintain a consistent clean look of all surfaces and repair any issues as they occur during a work schedule.

Floorcare Specialist Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

This is a safety sensitive position.•Minimum RequirementsMust be able to follow all rules and policies within the organization and departmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environmentEffective communication skillsAbility to operate floorcare machinery safely and effectively

Preferred Requirement:

At least 1 year of floorcare experience in a hospital setting preferredPrevious experience in a healthcare facility or commercial cleaning roleKnowledge of hospital infection control proceduresKnowledge of floor cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment
