Job Description

Job Overview Training is provided! We are seeking a passionate and energetic Microschool Teacher to inspire learners in a dynamic, personalized educational environment. As a Microschool Teacher, you will deliver engaging hands-on lesson plans, foster a nurturing atmosphere, and support the holistic development of children. We serve children from kindergarten to 12th grade. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the educational journey of students through innovative teaching methods, including Charlotte Mason Institute (CMI) and other child-centered approaches. Your dedication will help cultivate curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning in every child you serve. Our microschool has an emphasis in children with special needs thought we are open to all learners. www.driven-academy.org Responsibilities Implement creative curriculum plans that align with developmental milestones and educational progress, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Create a positive classroom environment that promotes respectful behavior, active participation, and collaborative learning among students. Use effective classroom management techniques to support children's behavior management and ensure safety at all times. Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those requiring special education. Collaborate with families and caregivers to communicate student progress and address individual needs related to childhood development and welfare. Incorporate CMI principles or other frameworks to enhance experiential learning experiences for young children. Requirements Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and team members. Experience with school environments is preferred but not required. Willingness to teach in an adaptive, interactive learning environment Experience with children with special needs is a plus Passion for fostering student growth and a positive learning environment High school diploma and/or GED required Willingness to learn a whole new way of education Must be able to pass a background check
Pay:
$15.00 per hour
