Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher supporting students' diverse learning needs in a rewarding contract position. Positions are available for resource teachers at the high school, middle school, and K-8 levels, each offering a unique opportunity to foster student growth and success. Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid certification and licensure in Special Education Experience with individualized education programs (IEPs) and differentiated instruction Ability to adapt curriculum and materials to meet varying learning styles and needs Strong organizational and communication skills Enthusiasm for working across grade levels (high school, middle school, K-8)
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide engaging, resource-level instruction for assigned grade band (high school, middle school, or K-8) Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student's strengths and areas for growth Work collaboratively with general education staff, support personnel, and families Track and report student progress in alignment with district goals and regulatory guidelines Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment that encourages student participation This full-time, 40-hour-per-week opportunity offers the fulfillment of helping students achieve their potential while gaining valuable experience in resource settings.
