Job Description

Teaching positions open at Ehrenberg Elementary. Contact Holly Brown at (928) 923-7900 for more information. Students attend Monday thru Thursday from 8:00am to 3:15pm. Teachers will work Monday thru Thursday with one scheduled Friday per month.
JOB DESCRIPTION
: To provide instruction that will facilitate learning and enable all students to reach academic success. Applicant must display high knowledge of age/subject appropriate educational materials, curriculum standards, and classroom discipline and behavior management methods. Demonstrate skill in written and oral communications. Demonstrate skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students, staff and parents. A committed and effective highly qualified teacher is needed to transform the lives of students. The teacher will support the mission of Quartzsite District schools, District goals, procedures, and policy in the best interest of the District by professionally carrying out assigned duties and participating in the improvement and refinement of related areas.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have or obtain an Arizona Elementary K-8 certification from Arizona Department of Education. Must be highly qualified for the teacher's assigned grade(s). Must have or obtain a fingerprint clearance card from the Department of Public Safety. Must provide references and pass a background. Experience with the Arizona State Standards. Must be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of content areas for grades applying for. At least 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
