The role involves developing individualized education plans, collaborating with staff and families, and providing instruction and behavioral support to students with diverse learning needs. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized special education plans tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and families to support student success Provide direct instruction and behavioral support strategies for students with diverse learning needs Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly Maintain detailed documentation of student performance and compliance with school policies
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field from an accredited institution Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate in Special Education CPR certification First Aid certification At least 1 year of experience working with special education students in a school setting Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt to diverse student needs Commitment to student success
