Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a difference each day by supporting students' growth in a dynamic educational setting. As a Special Education Teacher, you'll work collaboratively with fellow educators and families to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment. Key Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain in Arizona) Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's preferred) Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families Previous experience in a school-based special education role is highly valued
Responsibilities Include:
Designing and adapting lesson plans to meet the unique needs of each student Providing direct instruction to students with diverse learning abilities Collaborating with general education teachers, school staff, and parents to ensure student success Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records Conducting assessments and participating in IEP meetings Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere Utilizing innovative strategies and assistive technology in daily instruction Enjoy the distinctive rewards of contract work in a welcoming and supportive school environment.
