Category Schools - School Therapist Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a dedicated school-based therapist, specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), supporting students across 2-3 educational sites near Peoria, AZ. This impactful in-person assignment offers 40 hours per week, placing you at the heart of student advancement and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Future positions for Occupational Therapists are also anticipated for the upcoming school year, paving the way for continued professional growth.
Ideal Qualifications & Experience:
Credentials in ABA therapy or school-based therapy (certification/licensure required) Previous experience in a school setting preferred Ability to tailor behavioral intervention plans to individual student needs Strong communication skills to coordinate with teachers, staff, and families Flexibility to float between multiple sites and adapt to changing needs Organizational skills for managing caseloads and maintaining documentation
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver ABA-based therapeutic interventions to students, promoting positive behavior and learning environments Collaborate with educational staff to assess, identify, and implement strategies for student development Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and modify interventions as needed Support school teams in the development and execution of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Provide training and resources to school staff and families, ensuring continuity of care Participate in meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams This contract assignment offers a dynamic and supportive atmosphere, ideal for professionals eager to make a tangible difference while growing their skillset.
