Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to support student success. Modify classroom activities and curriculum to meet diverse student needs. Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions accordingly. Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or an equivalent field. State teaching certification/license in Special Education. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting, with strong knowledge of individualized instructional plans. Excellent communication skills. Patience and ability to work collaboratively with staff and families. Background check clearance. Compliance with all facility and state regulations.
