Multiple positions are available across several high school campuses within a 30-minute commute from various locations in the Phoenix area, including Linda Abril, Cesar Chavez, Alhambra, BioScience, Bostrom, Betty FairFax, and other southern schools. Full-time contract opportunities are open to dedicated professionals specializing in Inclusion/SUCCESS, Practical, CBT, or STRIVE programs. Qualified candidates will hold a Standard AZ Secondary Teaching License, K-12 Special Education Certificate, and a valid IVP Fingerprint Card. Certification in CBT and/or STRIVE is required. Your expertise working with students with emotional disabilities or other exceptionalities, including those facing challenges with prosocial and self-regulatory skills, is essential. An awareness of the unique needs of at-risk, ethnically diverse, and limited English proficient students is expected. Experience designing and implementing individualized education plans and complying with federal, state, and district regulations is vital.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver effective lessons to diverse groups of students within inclusion and self-contained settings Support students in developing self-regulatory and prosocial skills Coordinate and implement special services activities, ensuring compliance with all guidelines Collaborate with general education staff, specialists, and families Attend mandatory district training (CIE July 21-24; full staff returns July 27-May 21) Participate in needed staff development, including E.E.E.I. training, if not already completed Maintain accurate records and documentation according to district policies We're seeking passionate educators eager to make a daily impact by supporting a diverse student body.
