- Position Overview
- We are seeking a dedicated and passionate
- Special Education Teacher
- to support students in grades K-5 as a Resource Teacher.
Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, this role is responsible for delivering high-quality instructional services to students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate is committed to collaboration, individualized instruction, and fostering an inclusive learning environment that supports student growth and achievement.
- Key Responsibilities
- + Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities in a resource setting + Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) + Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families + Deliver small-group and individualized interventions + Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation + Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and professional development + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations •Minimum Requirements•+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university + Valid Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Special Education License + IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card + At least 1 year of teaching experience (preferred) + Strong understanding of special education best practices + Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams + Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements •Preferred Qualifications•+ Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement + Standard Elementary, Secondary, or Special Education Teaching Certification + Experience in a K-5 resource classroom setting •Additional Requirements•+ CPR certification (if applicable) + TB screening / health certification (per state regulations) + Must be at least 18 years of age •Compensation•+ •
Local Pay Rate:
