In this vital role, you will lead engaging activities, foster a positive classroom environment, and support children's social, emotional, and educational development. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating space where children can thrive. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills for school-age children Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement techniques Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary Foster an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and individual needs, including those requiring special education support Collaborate with parents, guardians, and team members to communicate children's progress and address any concerns or developmental needs Supervise children during indoor activities, outdoor play, meals, rest periods, and special events such as camp or theater programs Maintain organized records of daily activities, attendance, incident reports, and developmental milestones Experience Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, or babysitting roles Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to engage children positively and maintain discipline effectively Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience in working with children with special needs or in inclusive settings is preferred Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable; ongoing training in behavior management or special education is a plus Familiarity with sports coaching, theater arts, or other extracurricular activities that support holistic child development is beneficial Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and team members Join us as a Lead School Age Teacher to shape young minds through energetic engagement, compassionate guidance, and innovative learning experiences.
