Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Two-Year-Old Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment tailored specifically for toddlers. Your focus will be on fostering developmental milestones, encouraging curiosity, and supporting each child's social and emotional growth. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical activity, and social skills tailored for two-year-olds. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence. Manage daily classroom routines, including meal times, naps, diapering, and transitions with patience and consistency. Use effective behavior management techniques to guide positive social interactions and emotional regulation among toddlers. Incorporate early intervention strategies and special education practices when supporting children with additional needs. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Maintain detailed documentation of developmental assessments, lesson plans, and classroom activities aligned with childhood development standards. Experience Prior classroom experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children in daycare or early childhood education settings. Knowledge of curriculum development, early intervention methods, and literacy education for young learners. Familiarity with classroom management techniques specific to toddler care and behavior management strategies. Experience in implementing Montessori or other child-centered educational philosophies is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage parents in their child's development. Background in special education or working with children requiring additional support is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons that foster physical activity, cognitive growth, and social-emotional skills within a structured environment.
Pay:
$15.50 - $17.50 per hour
