$45-$55 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality instructional services for K-12 students. Under the supervision of the Special Education Program Administrator, you will deliver individualized instruction, collaborate with general education staff, and support academic success for learners with diverse needs. This role offers the opportunity to truly shape students' educational journeys through purposeful, student-centered teaching. ?? Position Overview The Special Education Teacher is responsible for designing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), adapting curriculum materials, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with state and district guidelines. You'll work closely with general education teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning environments and provide consultation to ensure all students can access and benefit from their instructional programs. ? Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (preferred) Valid state teaching certificate as required by district/state regulations Minimum of 1 year of classroom teaching experience (preferred) Preferred State Certification in one or more of the following:
Standard Elementary Teaching Standard Secondary Teaching Standard Special Teaching Endorsement:
Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) Compliance with all professional standards and practices Current CPR certification (if required) TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest X-ray (as applicable) Current health certificate (per state or contract requirements) Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements Must be 18 years of age or older ??
