Openings are available across a variety of special education settings, including Resource Specialist Program (RSP), Special Day Class (SDC), Mild to Moderate Support Needs, and Extensive Support Needs classrooms. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while collaborating with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success. Position Details Full-time, school-based position 2026-2027 School Year Multiple openings available RSP and SDC assignments Mild/Moderate and Extensive Support Needs caseloads Competitive pay based on experience Employed through Amergis Healthcare Staffing Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs. Provide specialized instruction tailored to students' academic, behavioral, social, and functional goals. Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to support student achievement. Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and compliance documentation. Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings. Adapt curriculum, instructional materials, and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Utilize evidence-based practices and behavior management strategies to foster student growth and independence.
