Job Description

Overview We are seeking a patient, compassionate, and dedicated Dance Teacher to join our team, with a strong focus on working with students with special needs , including children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD . The ideal candidate not only has solid dance skills but also understands how to adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning styles. This role is perfect for someone who truly enjoys working with children, values structure and consistency, and finds joy in helping students grow through music. Who We Are Looking For Strong piano skills; able to teach beginner to intermediate students Experienced in working with children with special needs (Autism, ADHD, etc.) Patient, calm, reliable, and emotionally supportive Comfortable working with children ages 4-18 Prior teaching experience (private or group lessons) preferred ABA experience or background as a BT/RBT is a strong plus Excellent communication skills with both children and parents Able to create structured, engaging, and fun lessons tailored to individual needs Responsibilities Teach 1:1 dance lessons (occasional small group sessions) Adapt lesson plans to support students with special needs Use positive reinforcement and behavior-support strategies Foster a safe, encouraging, and predictable learning environment Communicate student progress and updates with parents and studio staff Support students' confidence, emotional regulation, and musical growth Requirements Dance skill with teaching ability Know one of
