Special Education Teacher - El Segundo, CA Go Spindle - 1.7 El Segundo, CA Job Details Part-time | Contract $35.34 - $50.34 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Student caseload management Family collaboration in education Parent communication Working with students Working with families Special Education Certification Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Bring your passion for special education to a dynamic contract opportunity working one-on-one with students in the El Segundo area! This flexible, part-time role offers the chance to make a direct impact through in-home tutoring, supporting two high school students as they advance toward their academic goals. You'll work exclusively onsite in family homes, dedicating 4 hours each week to a 10th grade female student and 5 hours each week to a 9th grade male student. Services are needed during both the current school year (CSY) and extended school year (ESY), and the hours can be arranged in collaboration with the families to fit both your schedule and the students' needs. Ideal candidates bring expertise and compassion to their teaching practice, ensuring students feel supported on their unique learning journeys.
Qualifications:
Active California Mild/Moderate Special Education Teaching Credential (required) Prior experience working with mild/moderate caseloads Ability to work independently in a home setting Strong communication skills with students and families Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
