Requirements / Qualifications

Possession of a valid California Career Technical Education (CTE) Credential in Engineering and Architecture Applicants who hold a valid California Single Subject Credential in Industrial and Technology Education are also encouraged to apply

OR QUALIFY FOR A CTE CREDENTIAL THROUGH EXPERIENCE/COURSEWORK

3 years of industry experience (paid or unpaid) — at least 1 year must be hands-on Some of that experience must be recent (1 year in the last 5 years, or 2 years in the last 10 years) Up to 2 years of the requirement can be met through relevant coursework (24 semester units = 1 year) Advanced industry certification can count for 1 year AND High School Diploma or equivalent.
