Job Summary Job Summary Fountain Valley School District is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Specialist to serve Preschool students in an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Special Day Class (SDC) at Newland Elementary School. The successful candidate will provide developmentally appropriate instruction and support that promotes students' communication, social-emotional, behavioral, adaptive, and early academic development. As a valued member of the FVSD Special Education Team, the Education Specialist will collaborate with families, related service providers, instructional assistants, and school staff to implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and evidence-based practices that support each child's unique strengths and needs.
