Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher specializing in Mild/Moderate needs, located in Greenfield, CA. The position is contract-based for the 26/27 school year, with four openings available. The role requires a 37.5-hour workweek, spread over five days.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver instructional plans tailored to students with mild to moderate special education needs. Adapt curriculum to support individual learning goals. Collaborate with staff and families to implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Monitor and document student progress and behavioral observations. Provide a supportive classroom environment conducive to student growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Special Education Teaching credential or certification. Experience working with students requiring mild/moderate special education services. Strong understanding of individualized education plans and best instructional practices. Effective communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to manage classroom dynamics and foster positive student interaction.
