Job Description
- Behavior Support Aide
Position Summary:
- We are hiring passionate and responsible Behavior Support Aides (which includes anyone who has had previous experience as a: behavior technician, behavior therapist, aba therapist, behavior interventionist, behavior coach, behavior assistant, behavior support specialist, behavior consultant, SPED aide, special education aide) to join our team at our in
- Lomita, CA
- ! The ideal candidate will be dedicated to the well-being and development of children, ensuring their safety, and promoting their social, emotional, and behavioral growth.
Pay:
$21.00 - $26.00 per hourQualifications:
- High school diploma or higher degree
- Previous experience in childcare, special education, or a related field is preferred
- Must be open to school and home cases in order to build a full-time schedule
- Able to commute up to 5-10 miles or 30-45 minutes
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Patience, empathy, and a passion to work with children!
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
- Create and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs that stimulate children's physical, emotional, behavioral, and cognitive development.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to children as needed.
- Potential need to change diapers or assist with toilet training along with maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
- Maintain accurate records of children's daily routines, health, and milestones.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless childcare experience.
