  • Position Summary:
  • We are hiring passionate and responsible Behavior Support Aides (which includes anyone who has had previous experience as a: behavior technician, behavior therapist, aba therapist, behavior interventionist, behavior coach, behavior assistant, behavior support specialist, behavior consultant, SPED aide, special education aide) to join our team at our in
  • Lomita, CA
  • ! The ideal candidate will be dedicated to the well-being and development of children, ensuring their safety, and promoting their social, emotional, and behavioral growth.
  • Pay:
    $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
  • Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or higher degree
  • Previous experience in childcare, special education, or a related field is preferred
  • Must be open to school and home cases in order to build a full-time schedule
  • Able to commute up to 5-10 miles or 30-45 minutes
  • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion to work with children!
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus

  • Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Create and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs that stimulate children's physical, emotional, behavioral, and cognitive development.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children as needed.
  • Potential need to change diapers or assist with toilet training along with maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's daily routines, health, and milestones.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless childcare experience.
