$65,000-$100,000 (Commensurate with experience and role) Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and experienced Special Education professionals to join our team. We have openings for both a Special Education Teacher and a Special Education Administrator . The ideal candidates will be dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning, emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs while fostering an inclusive and compliant educational environment. Special Education Teacher | $65,000-$85,000 Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide specialized instruction tailored to students' individual learning needs Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, therapists, and parents Assess student progress and maintain accurate documentation and records Modify curriculum, assignments, and teaching methods as needed Support students' behavioral, emotional, and social development Maintain a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment Utilize classroom technology and instructional tools effectively Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field required Master's degree in Special Education with Special Education Teaching Credential preferred Valid State Special Education Teaching Credential required Mild/Moderate, Moderate/Severe, or Extensive Support credential preferred Knowledge of IEP development and special education compliance Strong classroom management and communication skills CPR/First Aid certification preferred Preferred Skills Experience with autism spectrum disorder, behavioral challenges, or learning disabilities Familiarity with assistive technology and differentiated instruction Ability to build positive relationships with students and families Special Education Administrator | $80,000-$100,000 Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of special education programs and services Ensure compliance with IDEA, ADA, Section 504, and state special education regulations Supervise and support special education teachers, aides, and related service providers Lead IEP processes and provide guidance on eligibility, placement, and services Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices Assist with budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation Provide professional development and training to staff Address parent concerns and facilitate conflict resolution Maintain accurate records, reports, and state-required documentation Qualifications Master's degree in Special Education required (for Admin role) Valid Special Education Teaching Credential or Administrative Services Credential required Minimum 3-5 years of special education teaching experience required Demonstrated administrative experience required Strong knowledge of special education law, IEP compliance, and program management Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in program administration or district-level special education support Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies and inclusive education models Familiarity with state reporting systems and compliance audits Bilingual skills are a plus
