August 10th, 2026 (paid summer training as needed) About 2e4Me Academy At 2e4Me Academy, we don't do "one-size-fits-all" education. Our students are twice-exceptional (2e)—meaning they are brilliantly gifted, creative, and highly capable, but they also navigate learning differences like ADHD, Autism, dyscalculia, or executive functioning challenges. We believe education should be dynamic, individualized, and strengths-based. We are seeking a professional, highly adaptable educator who excels at out-of-the-box instructional design to join our collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Design & Differentiation:
Develop and implement an engaging, conceptual math curriculum that challenges gifted intellects while scaffolding for specific learning differences, processing speeds, and executive function needs.
Individualized Instruction:
Deliver tailored, small-group and one-on-one instruction, seamlessly adapting pacing and methodology to meet diverse learning styles. Create a safe and nurturing environment : : Cultivate a secure and predictable environment sensitive to the social-emotional and sensory needs of neurodivergent students.
Multi-Sensory Integration:
Utilize educational technology, assistive tools, visual aids, and hands-on manipulatives to enhance comprehension, engagement, and long-term retention.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
Partner actively with special education teachers, psychologists, speech/occupational therapists, and parents to implement and refine comprehensive, individualized educational plans.
Assessment & Progress Monitoring:
Utilize formative and summative assessments to monitor academic and personal growth, providing clear, analytical feedback to families and staff.
Student Empowerment:
Teach practical strategies for self-advocacy, emotional regulation, and organizational skills, fostering a growth mindset and critical thinking.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
Strong professional background in General Education, Special Education, Mathematics, or a related field. Knowledge of differentiated instruction, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and neurodiversity. Flexible teaching and patient approach to behavior and learning. The organization and communication skills required to manage individualized student goals. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. A patient, empathetic, and highly flexible pedagogical style.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Mathematics, with Special Education training.
Preferred:
Valid State Teaching Certification (Secondary Mathematics preferred). Prior experience teaching twice-exceptional (2e), gifted, or neurodivergent students. Specialized training or experience supporting students with ADHD, ASD, dyscalculia, or dyslexia. Comfort navigating a broad instructional range, from foundational math concepts to advanced middle school enrichment topics. Working Environment Based in Newport Beach, our specialized learning center offers ultra-small class sizes to allow for direct student interaction and meaningful relationship-building.
