Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing - Norco, CA Norco, CA Job Details Contract $32.71 - $62.71 an hour 6 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Teaching experience with learners with disabilities Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school in Norco, CA is seeking a dedicated Teacher for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students to provide instruction and support for the remainder of the academic year. This onsite itinerant position covers a MAT leave from the end of January through the end of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction tailored to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to create inclusive learning environments Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs Provide itinerant services across multiple classroom settings within the school
Qualifications:
Active California Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) certification is required Previous experience working with DHH students is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and colleagues Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all educational policies and protocols
Location:
Norco, CA Onsite position; travel within the district for itinerant service required
