Oak Hills Residential House |10268 Fremontia Rd | Oak Hills, CA 92344 About Us TeamABA Wellness is the world's largest behavior analytic health & fitness training organization , dedicated to integrating Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with fitness and wellness. We are seeking a Certified Personal Trainer to provide fitness training sessions for adults with intellectual disabilities at an Enhanced Behavior Support Home (EBSH) . This unique role combines fitness expertise with behavior science, working under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (Fitness Behavior Program Manager) to help clients reach their health and fitness goals. Primary Responsibilities Lead clients through safe, effective, and motivating exercise routines Evaluate client fitness levels and set achievable goals Monitor and coach clients in strength and conditioning programs Design and facilitate personal and group workouts Reinforce positive behaviors using ABA principles during sessions Teach safe equipment use, weightlifting techniques, warm-ups, and stretches Ensure all activities follow health and safety regulations Provide emergency support (CPR/First Aid) if needed Record data on client progress, behaviors, and outcomes Submit session notes and updates to the FBPM Implement feedback and recommendations from the FBPM immediately Attend company meetings, training, and required professional development Training Requirements Participate in all required trainings and staff meetings Practice only within scope of expertise and refer questions outside of training to a BCBA Obtain additional certifications as required to expand scope of practice Why Join TeamABA Wellness? Qualifications Requirements:
High School Diploma (minimum) Active nationally accredited certification in fitness training (ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA, NSPA) or BS in Kinesiology (or in process of obtaining certification) CPR and First Aid certifications (up to date) Minimum of 2 years' experience in personal training Strong communication skills (oral & written) Reliable transportation and ability to pass background check At least 18 years of age
Preferred:
Certification in sports performance training Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Independent time management and organizational skills Ability to motivate and maintain a positive, upbeat attitude Creativity and dependability in program delivery
Benefits & Pay Pay:
$50 per hour (Contract, Part-Time | 5-10 hrs/week depending on availability) Earn $55/HR upon obtaining Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification , sponsored by
