• Position Overview
• Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, the
• Special Education Teacher
• provides high-quality instructional and behavioral services to students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

This role requires a strong commitment to collaboration, individualized instruction, and supporting diverse learning needs within a special education classroom setting. The ideal candidate is student-centered, flexible, and confident working across classroom types while partnering with general education staff and related service providers to ensure student success.

• Key Responsibilities
• + Deliver specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals + Support students with mild to moderate special needs + Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff + Participate in IEP meetings and student program planning + Provide tutorial assistance and behavioral support + Maintain appropriate documentation and compliance standards + Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment •Minimum & Preferred Qualifications•+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (preferred) + Valid state teaching credential (required per state/district guidelines) + State Teacher Certification (preferred): + Standard Elementary Teaching + Standard Secondary Teaching + Standard Special Teaching + Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement (preferred) + CLEAR credential highly preferred + Minimum of one (1) year of school or teaching experience (preferred) + Experience in special education settings preferred + CPR certification (if applicable) + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable) + Current health certificate (per contract/state regulation) + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age •Pay & Compensation•+ •

Local Pay Rate:

• Up to $52/hour (negotiable)
