Full Job Description Position:
Intervention Specialist Job Description:
We are hiring a qualified Early Intervention Specialist (Infant Teacher) to provide creative play-based activities for young children with developmental delays or those who are at-risk to increase their communication skills, social emotional and other areas of functional development. The Intervention Specialist is a young child's one-on-one teacher, friend (play partner), and parents' resourceful consultant who can provide useful strategies and helpful resources for parents to support their young children's developmental needs on a daily basis. The Intervention Specialist will work with clients to develop and maintain a strong trust relationship, they must have a passion with love and patience for young children and empathetic thoughts for family and parents. The goal is to promote the young child's social and emotional development and establish a healthy and balanced emotional and behavioral regulation.
Qualifications:
College Diploma or Equivalent (Required) Valid Driver's License (Required) Must be authorized to work in USA 2+ years of experience working with children Bilingual (Mandarin Chinese /English or Spanish/ English) preferred
Additional Information:
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and be able to safely operate a motor vehicle. The job requires constant movement, thinking, talking, and decision making. Must have patience as it requires the ability to handle difficult cases with great tact and discretion. Must have the ability to learn new skills quickly. Must have the ability to think quickly on his or her feet.
