Essential Elements:
Print Brief Description of Position. Provides an educational program for learning handicapped pupils who are seriously academically deficient in relation to their ability in one or all of the following subjects: reading, mathematics, language; and who have a behavioral, neurological, and/or emotional problem of such severity that satisfactory progress cannot be expected in the regular classroom with Resource Specialist assistance. Students assigned to SDC designation must require one-half or more of their school day in special education.
