Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid teaching credential in Special Education Experience working with children and adolescents in a special education setting Strong understanding of IEP processes and ability to implement individualized accommodations Compassionate, patient, and adaptable when supporting students with varying needs Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, therapists, and families Ability to start as soon as possible and commit to a full-time schedule
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of students with disabilities Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Regularly track student progress and adapt instructional strategies as needed Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and support staff to create an inclusive environment Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings Foster a positive, growth-centered classroom culture This contracted position offers the chance to make a positive difference every single day for students who need it most.
