We are seeking a Full-Time IEP / Education Specialist (RSP Teacher) to support a school district in Salinas, CA . Overview Platinum Therapy is a nationwide provider of comprehensive therapy services. Summary We are seeking an IEP / Education Specialist to join our team at Platinum Therapy. This is a short-term assignment focused on completing approximately 10 Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for a K-6 caseload . Your contributions will directly impact students and their families by ensuring access to appropriate educational services and support. Responsibilities Complete and manage approximately 10 IEPs in compliance with timelines and regulations Assess student needs and support special education services Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Set measurable goals to drive student success Ensure compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act Collaborate with families and school teams while tracking student progress Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field Valid California Education Specialist Credential (or eligibility) Strong knowledge of IEP development, compliance, and timelines Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred Familiarity with SEIS or similar IEP systems is a plus Excellent communication and collaboration skills mportant Expectations The district has emphasized the need for a candidate who is: Fully committed during working hours (no personal tasks during scheduled time) Reliable with attendance and professionalism Accurate in service tracking and documentation Focused on completing assigned IEPs efficiently without unnecessary revisions $54-$77 per hour (based on experience and location) Sign-On Bonus Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, and vision) Excellent clinical support to help you thrive in your role Platinum Therapy values diversity and inclusion.
