Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Onsite Special Education Teachers - San Bernardino, CA Area We are seeking skilled Special Education Teachers for the 2024-2025 school year to support students with special needs in an onsite school setting near San Bernardino, California. This contract position offers the opportunity to impact the lives of students requiring moderate/severe and mild/moderate support.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs. Collaborate with general education teachers to foster inclusive and supportive classroom environments. Monitor student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary to promote success. Provide direct instruction and individualized support to students with various disabilities. Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff on progress and goals. Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts. Maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance with educational standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field; Master's degree preferred. Valid California teaching credential with Special Education authorization. Experience educating students with moderate/severe or mild/moderate disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. Ability to work well with diverse school teams and foster positive learning environments. Commitment to professional growth and student success.
