The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing TK and supporting their developmental milestones in a safe, engaging, and caring environment. This role involves creating a positive learning atmosphere, implementing age-appropriate activities, and fostering growth through individualized attention. Prior experience in childcare, classroom management, is highly valued. The TK Teacher will play a vital role in shaping the early experiences of our youngest learners and supporting their families. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to infants' developmental stages Monitor and document each child's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones Create a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Engage with children through play, music, storytelling, and other educational activities Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate daily updates and developmental observations Maintain classroom organization and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care when necessary Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive social interactions among children Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Familiarity with classroom management strategies for young children Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; ongoing training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus Demonstrated ability to nurture, teach, and manage behavior effectively in a caregiving setting 3 years working in preschool settings
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
