Your responsibilities will include:
Providing specialized instructional support for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing within a school setting Serving as an itinerant teacher, traveling between several school sites to deliver in-person services (this position does not support virtual instruction) Collaborating closely with school staff and families to create inclusive, effective educational strategies Developing and implementing IEPs and adapting curriculum as needed Maintaining thorough documentation related to student progress and engagement Building strong communication channels with educational teams and caregivers Preferred experience and qualities: Current, active DHH certification/license in California Familiarity with California school systems and best practices Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads effectively Excellent communication skills to coordinate across multiple teams and sites Ability to adjust quickly and remain flexible when visiting diverse school communities Position details: Full-time contract position (37.5 hours per week) Onsite, in-person services only Itinerant role serving multiple school locations Target start and end dates: August 10, 2026 - June 4, 2026 If you enjoy a collaborative school culture and want to make a meaningful impact on Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, this role could be an excellent fit.
