We serve a diverse, multilingual community and believe all students can achieve at high levels with the right support. Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Moderate-Severe Special Education Teacher to support students with significant disabilities. This role focuses on individualized instruction, life skills development, and inclusion in a collaborative, student-centered environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned to IEP goals
  • Teach functional academics, communication, social-emotional, and daily living skills
  • Develop and implement IEPs; monitor progress and maintain compliance
  • Use evidence-based strategies (ABA, visual supports, structured teaching)
  • Implement behavior supports and BIPs
  • Collaborate with staff, service providers, and families
  • Supervise instructional aides
  • Maintain a safe, structured classroom
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree; CA Education Specialist Credential (Moderate/Severe or ESN)
