- Role Overview
- As a Home & Community Behavior Technician, you'll deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children in natural settings, including homes, schools, and community environments.
You'll work under BCBA supervision to support skill development, behavior reduction, and meaningful progress-while adapting to different settings throughout your day. This role is ideal for individuals who value variety, independence, and building strong relationships with families and teams.
- What You'll Do
- Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions under BCBA supervision
- Implement treatment plans in home, school, and community settings
- Use play-based and individualized strategies to engage children
- Collect accurate session data and progress notes
- Apply feedback and coaching to strengthen clinical skills
- Collaborate with families, school staff, and clinical supervisors
- Support skill generalization across environments
- Maintain safe, professional, and organized therapy sessions

- Pay Range
Hourly Rate:
- $20.00 - $25.50/hour (based on education and experience)
- Additional factors that may increase starting pay include:
- Prior experience working in ABA or related behavioral health settings
- Higher levels of education or relevant coursework
- Fluency in additional languages that support the families we serve
- Advanced certifications or specialized training (e.g., RBT certification) ____________________________________________________________________________________
- Qualifications & Essential Job Functions
- Minimum age of 18
- High School diploma or GED required
- Ability to actively engage in child-centered play and therapeutic activities
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including:
- Lifting and carrying up to
- 50 lbs
- Bending, kneeling, squatting, and transitioning between activities and locations
- Responding appropriately to challenging behaviors, which may include aggression, elopement, or self-injurious behaviors
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel consistently within your assigned service region
- Valid driver's license and punctual attendance
- Comfort working across multiple settings (home, school, community)
- No prior ABA experience required - we train you

- Special education, psychology, sociology, or related studies
- Mental health or human services roles
