- Diagnoses learning needs of individual pupils
- Plans an appropriate instructional program to meet the diagnosed needs of each pupil
- Keep accurate records of diagnosis, plans and achievements of pupils
- Develops and selects appropriate teaching techniques, materials, and resources to implement IEP
- Plans programs that meet requirements of District and State guidelines
- Evaluate IEPs in terms of individual progress of pupils
- Keep pupils, teachers, and parents informed about their individual progress within a framework of District policy
