• About the Role
• We are seeking a dedicated
• Special Education Teacher
• to provide high-quality instructional services to students in kindergarten through grade 12.

Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, this educator will help plan and implement individualized programs, collaborate with general education staff, and support student success across diverse learning needs. This role is ideal for someone who values teamwork, inclusive practices, and student-centered instruction.

• Responsibilities
• + Deliver specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals + Collaborate with general education teachers to support student inclusion + Provide tutorial assistance and consultation as needed + Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and program planning + Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district regulations + Uphold professional standards of practice and ethical conduct
• Minimum Requirements
• + Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (preferred) + Valid state teaching certificate as required by state/district regulations + Minimum of one year of teaching experience (preferred) + Preferred certifications: + Standard Elementary Teaching + Standard Secondary Teaching + Standard Special Teaching +

• Preferred Endorsement:

• Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) + Current CPR certification (if applicable) + TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest X-ray (if applicable) + Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation) + Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age
