Responsibilities:

Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students, 1:1 or in small groups, following teacher directions Assist with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation to promote student engagement Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as applicable Support mobility, supervision, and personal care to ensure safety and well-being Maintain a respectful and inclusive environment conducive to learning and growth

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED Minimum age of 18 Ability to pass TB test and required clearances prior to starting Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary Current clearances or willingness to obtain them before placement

Preferred Experience:

Background in school settings, special education, behavioral health, or child care Experience with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT protocols is a plus, but not required Reliable, patient, and collaborative mindset
