Job Description
To be considered for the position you must be willing to fill in where and when necessary. Bizzy Beez Academy is an education based center with ages ranging from infants to 12yrs of age. The ideal candidate would be confident with working with all age groups. When applying you must submit a resume along with your college transcripts. Please review qualifications prior to applying.
Work performed during normal business hours. Additional time may be required to meet business needs or deadlines. Dependable transportation for work, training sessions and meetings and work related business as needed.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OR RESPONSIBILITY
Under the supervision of the Director, provide classroom leadership in implementing and coordinating best practices for classroom activities according to age and development levels of children.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Work effectively with other teachers in the implementation of a curriculum. Observe and monitor children's play activities. Redirect any inappropriate behavior with positive guidance and redirection. Organize and participate in recreational play activities both indoor and outdoor Ensure the center is safe and appropriate environment for children.QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience/Certifications:
12 units in Early Child Education.PRE EMPLOYMENT FUNCTIONS
Criminal Record Statement to include criminal background check and fingerprintingHealth Screening Report and Personnel Record Skills/Knowledge and Expertise:
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with students, families, and staffPhysical Requirements:
Work requires long periods of sitting with occasional walking, standing, and infrequent stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching above head. Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.Work Environment:
