The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs. This role requires a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment, ensuring that all students have access to quality education tailored to their unique abilities. Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that accommodate the diverse needs of students with disabilities. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to create effective IEPs and monitor student progress. Utilize various teaching methods, including speech therapy, behavioral therapy, and literacy education, to enhance student learning outcomes. Provide early intervention strategies for students requiring additional support in their educational journey. Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary. Facilitate library services and resources to support literacy education among students with special needs. Promote a positive classroom environment that encourages social interaction and emotional growth among students. Skills Proficiency in lesson planning tailored for special education settings. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and other special needs. Strong understanding of speech therapy techniques and their application in educational settings. Ability to implement behavioral therapy strategies effectively within the classroom. Knowledge of early intervention practices to support young learners with disabilities. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, staff, and external service providers. Passion for educating students with special needs and fostering an inclusive classroom atmosphere.
