Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification in Special Education, or eligibility to obtain one Experience working with students with disabilities or learning differences Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Effective communication and collaboration skills Creative problem-solving abilities and a commitment to differentiated instruction Ability to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
Design and adapt lesson plans tailored to meet individual student needs and learning styles Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with families and staff Provide direct instruction, both in small groups and individually Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and administrators Track and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary Support student social, emotional, and behavioral growth throughout the school day Foster a supportive, respectful, and engaging classroom climate Take this opportunity to shape student learning journeys while working in an engaging educational setting near Boulder, CO.
