In this dynamic role, you will serve as a key leader in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young learners. Your expertise will help shape the development of children during their crucial early years, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. As a Lead Co Teacher, you will collaborate closely with fellow educators to implement innovative curricula, manage classroom activities, and support individualized learning plans. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working in a lively and supportive setting. Duties Lead classroom activities by developing and implementing comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and curriculum development best practices. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that promote respect, cooperation, and curiosity. Collaborate with fellow teachers to create inclusive learning environments that support children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities that enhance literacy education, math skills, physical education, and overall childhood development. Monitor and assess each child's progress using standardized testing methods and ongoing observations to tailor instruction and support their individual growth. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding child welfare, developmental milestones, and classroom updates to ensure a strong partnership in supporting each child's success. Support the implementation of Montessori or other specialized teaching approaches where applicable, ensuring adherence to best practices in preschool experience and daycare settings. Qualifications Proven classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings such as preschool or daycare environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Experience with curriculum development across various subjects including literacy education, math, physical education, and child welfare initiatives. Familiarity with special education needs and early intervention programs to support diverse learners effectively. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, families, and community partners effectively. Prior experience in private school or Montessori settings is advantageous but not required. Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons that foster curiosity while ensuring safety and well-being for all children.
