Overview & Responsibilities:
Contributes to the overall efficiency of the location by maintaining open and effective communication and maintaining accurate and timely client files Partners with transfer care supervisor, transfer care manager, and care center manager to ensure smooth implementation of any new company initiative and procedures Assists peers and supervisors in ensuring all open tasks are completed promptly Participates in weekly updates with supervisor to share and exchange resources and to ensure goals are being met Learns to operate new office technologies as they are developed and implemented Manages deliverables, organizes and coordinates workflow, manages multiple tasks, deadlines, and projects Maintains customer service standards as implemented for appropriate brands Carries out other projects and duties as assigned, i.e., car washing, building and equipment repair, laundry, building boxes, and cremation containers Completes all company assigned learning assignments, including compliance management, i.e., OSHA, workplace harassment prevention Partners with peers to ensure administrative components are completed accurately and timely Supports coordination of and participates in assigned staff meetings Oversees and ensures fleet is always shown ready and assists with maintaining overall cleanliness, proper fueling, track of mileage, scheduled maintenance, and stocking of supplies Assists Team Members with tasks as needed, including filling in for hearse drivers as needed Maintains the more astonishing logs, inventory tracking, vehicle mileage, and scheduled maintenance logs Oversees staffing to meet business needs, onboarding and training of all new hires, scheduling, coaching, and development, and openly communicate to appropriate Team Members areas of successful performance and performance needing improvement to meet business expectations Greets and interacts with customers, handling inquiries and directing them according to specific needs, answers phones, fields questions, and uses phone etiquette as outlined by the company Ensures proper paperwork is completed timely and in accordance with relevant laws and regulations Holds oneself accountable for utilizing system and technology provided by the company Preforms initial and subsequent transfers of decedents from the place of death to the care center, and from the care center to the place of memorial and service Adheres to all regulations and procedures with the transfer of the decedent, i.e., tag and process decedent appropriately, including logging of personal effects Maintains a professional appearance, including dressing brand appropriately Requirements & Qualifications:
Must be 21 years or older Availability to work nights, weekends, and on-call shifts with no regular hours as needed Strong communication skills and high levels of compassion and integrity Ability to follow detailed instructions and receive/apply constructive feedback with a positive attitude Professional appearance and dress Maintains composure in challenging situations with compassion and kindness Ability to lift more than 100lbs safely Valid state-issued driver's license with a clear driving record Shift:
